It’s perfectly positioned with views of Place and has a terrace looking out over the Fowey Estuary. One feels every mood of the weather – utterly beautiful in the sunshine when rays bounce off the water or broods with a threatening storm in winter. It is perfectly situated close to the centre of town and is just 10 minutes from the beach.

A wonderful stay at No. 2 over New Year. The apartment is in a super location just above the centre of town, but nicely tucked away and has glorious views over the town and the estuary. But what sets this place apart is the exceptional design and comforts you find when you open the door. Stylish decor and furnishings everywhere you look and luxury touches such as the bed linen, toiletries and sheepskins galore! Henry and Alison are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts and the initial interactions when booking set the tone. They were helpful and responsive throughout (even on New Year’s Eve) and the whole stay was just the tonic we needed after the Christmas festivities. Highly highly recommend and we will be back.

If you are ever in doubt about booking holiday accommodation then your doubts can be totally extinguished by staying at Marners Rock No2. The attention to detail on the decoration and furnishings is wonderful. We did take our time finding the cottage, but it was a joy to wander the lovely streets of Fowey. When we arrived there was a gin and tonic waiting for us…..very thoughtful indeed. The best compliment I can give, is that if we owned a holiday cottage, we would aspire to have it to this standard….also thanks to the cleaner, who does a fab job. Thanks again, Richard & Maureen

Stunning home with beautiful views over the harbour! The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed and more, even when travelling with a one year old! A beautifully decorated home, perfectly located just a short walk down the hill into the centre. Alison & Henry were amazing hosts, providing all the info we needed before and during our stay, checking in to see everything was ok and being very responsive when we had a question.
We were welcomed with some fresh bread, essentials and wine and gin, which was a lovely gesture! They also contacted us before check-in time to let us know the apartment was ready and we could arrive early. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make the most of the early check-in, but it was great that they provided the opportunity to do so.

Although this listing was on the pricey side we would 100% recommend as we felt we truly got our monies worth! Thank you Alison & Henry for making our first time in Cornwall and our time in Fowey truly memorable 🙂

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend marners rock 2. It is tastefully decorated, spacious and has all the “home from home” comforts that you could possibly need. The master bedroom and bathroom views are totally mesmerising. The dining area is well positioned to make the most of the glorious views down over the fowey river and to the sea. The beds are enormous and very comfortable!! A lovely base to explore that part of the Cornish coast! We would not hesitate to return. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, thank you!
