There is no private parking for Marners Rock No.1 & 2 apartments.
The nearest public car park can be found at the top of town in the Main Car Park (PL23 1ET). This parking can be purchased on a nightly or weekly basis by cash or the Just Park app (Location ID 8352).
There is one large parking space that belongs to the apartment in the parking area in front of the apartment. The space could accommodate 2 smaller cars although we advise if possible to find a free space which can be found on the road the apartment is situated on.

Yes, we are dog-friendly and allow one large dog or 2 small dogs. There is an extra dog fee of £50 per stay. Please do not allow the dogs into the bedrooms or to sit on the furniture. If your dog tends to sit on the furniture we appreciate this is difficult to control but please do bring your own protective rugs and ensure the dogs are not sitting directly on any of the furniture. We provide food and water bowls but please bring all other dog equipment you need. Please wash off your dogs outside and dry them before allowing them inside the buildings and apartments. We wish to protect the carpets as far as possible from muddy/wet feet.
There is a small delicatessen (Kittows) and Spar store in Fowey which usually covers emergency shopping. We do like to encourage our guests to shop locally, however, Tesco, Asda, Aldi and Co-op are all located within a short drive. Tesco, Sainsburys and Waitrose do offer a home delivery option to Fowey, as do Majestic and a local wine retailer Ellis Wharton Wines.
Of course, you can cancel but there will be a charge, which will vary depending on the timing and if we can re-let the property. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
We have decided not to stick to any particular changeover day and allow a minimum booking of 2 nights subject to a small short-stay premium. 3 nights and over will not be charged this additional premium.
Fowey is difficult for those with mobility issues and two of our apartments have stairs to negotiate. Marners Rock No.1 is a ground-floor apartment with direct access from Place View Road. Marners Rock No.2 is above Marners Rock No.1 and so there are 2 sets of stairs to negotiate. There are 2 sets of stairs at Marners Rock No.3 that need to be negotiated to get to the property so those requiring wheelchairs will find it extremely difficult to access the apartment.
A rough location has been provided on the Location page of the website and using the google maps feature you can see distances to the centre of town and other locations. The full location will be provided in our further information email once full payment has been made.
We do not charge a booking fee.

Unfortunately, we do not allow Hen parties or Stag Dos or parties of young people under 25.
Yes, Gas, Electric and Wifi are included in the accommodation price.
No, unfortunately, there is currently no specialised charging available at the apartments. The parking space for No.3 is on the other side of the road from the apartment. There are charging facilities at all the Fowey car parks.
There is a garden behind Marners Rock No.3 which is shared with the other owners. This garden benefits from the evening sun and being at the back of the building is rarely used so if you wish to use it you will more than likely have it to yourself although this is not guaranteed.
Marners Rock No.1 & 2 do not have gardens. No.2 does have an outside garden roof terrace and as we own the road around the property it is permissible for No.1 guests to sit outside on the road on the Directors provided to enjoy the view with a morning coffee or evening drink.
There is no landline in any of the apartments but there is Wifi and the mobile signal in the area is good.
Yes, we provide high-quality bed linen and towels for all guests. We do not provide beach towels so please bring your own. There is a clothes washing machine and a tumble dryer so one set should be enough. Please do not use the apartment towels to go swimming or on the beach. If the towels are stained the cost of replacement will be deducted from the Damages Deposit.
Please bring your own towels for your dogs.
Absolutely not. Smoking or Vaping is not allowed in the apartments, or on the balconies /Terrace or anywhere in the buildings.
The apartments are fully equipped for holiday self-catering e.g washing machine, dryer, a range of glasses, pots, pans, cutlery, tea towels etc. We believe we provide more equipment and items than any other luxury holiday rental.
In addition we provide an Nespresso coffee machine (with a few capsules to get you started), dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials and there will be some tea, milk, fruit, butter, jam and bread for your first breakfast in case you have not been able to get to a shop.

Once you have made a reservation request and we have accepted it we will send you a confirmation email normally within 24 hrs.
Arrival is anytime time after 4 pm and departure is before 10 am although we are normally able to offer an earlier arrival time. This will depend upon the workload of our cleaner and the number of changeovers she has on any given day. If we are able to offer you the apartment early or a later departure we will let you know.
Please let us know the number of people staying when you book. We understand plans change and sometimes at short notice. If the numbers change after the booking was made, please let us know in advance so that we are able to ensure that the beds are made up correctly and the right number of towels are provided.
You are, of course, welcome to entertain friends for drinks and meals in the apartments but no overnight stays above those that we have been notified of.
We provide you a local contact number in our welcome email and we will endeavour to quickly rectify any issues you have.
Please contact us as soon as possible and we will agree on the best course of action. Depending on the nature of the damage and the ease of repair an agreed amount may be deducted from your Damages Deposit.
No, but we ask that you respectfully leave the apartment in a tidy state with all dishes washed or in the dishwasher and the rubbish/recycling placed in the respective bags in the bin stores. Our cleaner will clean the apartment after your departure. To speed up the cleaning time and allow other guests to arrive early, we would be grateful if you could strip any bed that has been used and place all the laundry in the shower tray (first floor/second bathroom for Nos. 2&3 respectively). Please leave any marked towels at the top so that we can ensure all effort is made for them to come clean. Severely marked towels will be charged if we are unable to return them to their original unmarked state.
