Sarah potts says: We had a great stay and would definitely recommend marners rock 2. It is tastefully decorated, spacious and has all the “home from home” comforts that you could possibly need. The master bedroom and bathroom views are totally mesmerising. The dining area is well positioned to make the most of the glorious views down over the fowey river and to the sea. The beds are enormous and very comfortable!! A lovely base to explore that part of the Cornish coast! We would not hesitate to return. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, thank you!

We spent a wonderful short break at this most comfortable and perfectly located apartment. The apartment is spacious with stunning views of the river and town, and it is thoughtfully furnished with everything you would need for a perfect stay. Can’t fault it. Highly recommended.

We can thoroughly recommend No 2 Marner’s Rock as a place to stay in Fowey, it is ideally situated close to the town, yet high enough for views across the water. The apartment is super comfortable with beautiful furnishings and every need anticipated, a truly great place to relax, particularly in the heavenly beds! With many thoughtful touches such as an outside hose for muddy boots and automatic lighting, the apartment also has access to a separate apartment for extended family and friends with the flexibility for a perfect getaway in this endearing Cornish location.

What can I say! We spent a long weekend at Marners Rock No 2 at the beginning of June, four of us in the apartment that can sleep 6, and can only recommend it wholeheartedly.
The property is nestled in the heart of Fowey, with views over the rooftops towards the estuary. Directions on how to get there and where to park are very clear and whilst it’s not the easiest place to arrive at with heavy bags, we managed fine with our weekend cases and bag of provisions. Not that we really needed the latter as the basics were there, together with a good selection of bread, fruit, milk, wine and the wonderful treat of a decanter of gin and some tonics to kick off the weekend in style…and there’s a shop/delicatessen just down the street as well as several bakeries, plus more than enough eateries to… Read more

We have recently returned from a fabulous stay at No. 3, we are regular visitors to Fowey and this is without doubt the most amazing place we have stayed. The apartment has been decorated and furnished to an incredibly high standard, with every detail carefully considered, and beautiful unique pieces of furniture and art work throughout. From the welcome provided and communication from Henry, our stay was an absolute pleasure. Fowey has so much to offer but we could happily spend our time simply taking in the wonderful view in the terrace. We cannot wait to return!

Can only reiterate all that has been said in previous reviews! Spacious, comfortable apartment with glorious views of the river. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and an absolute pleasure to cook in – a very rare thing in a holiday cottage! Lovely wine glasses, cutlery, crockery, sauce pans and utensils – all thoughtfully chosen and certainly much appreciated. The position is great – a lovely stroll to Readymoney cove and the coast path beyond or an equally lovely stroll the other way into town. A genuinely lovely spot for a holiday and extremely responsive, helpful owners – thank you very much.

Just a little message to say a big heartfelt thank you for making our honeymoon stay at Marners Rock No.3 so wonderful. Every little detail was exactly how we had hoped they would be and more! The apartment is truly stunning with such magnificent sea views, every morning we would be sat on the balcony welcoming the morning sunrise with a cup of coffee while our young son would be using the binoculars to watch the boats. Readymoney beach was only a 5 minute walk from the apartment, the water was so clear and calm perfect for swimming with children. The town was bustling during the day and the evenings were quiet just as we hoped.. wonderful people and an incredible place to stay if you want to relax and unwind.

5+ stars all the way for all their apartments….have stayed in 1 and 3 over the last couple of years and was lucky enough to have a tour of apartment 2 whilst there 🙂 every detail has been thought about and its quite hard to extract yourself from the big comfy sofas and….that view (!!!) to get out for the day! Love love love everything Alison and Henry have done, they are fantastic hosts and always leave planning our next trip to Fowey!

Marners Rock is an absolutely stunning property in a perfect location. The apartment is designed beautifully, with everything you would ever need, all wrapped up in a rare elegance and luxury. Communication was excellent, every detail was thought about, and the treats on arrival (including gin!) were very welcome. Situated perfectly between the wonderful Fowey town and Readymoney Cove, you couldn’t ask for a better spot, and the fantastic balcony is the perfect spot to watch the estuary as the weather rolls in. We hope to be back very soon.

The apartment was perfect. It was beautifully clean and equipped with everything we needed. Sitting on the comfy sofa or at the dining table, we could admire all of the unique touched that have been carefully added. The bathroom feels as though you are at a luxry spa and the whole apartment has been finished to the highest standards. Alison and henry popped round after we arrived to check all was well and they made us feel very welcome, (the gin and fresh bread were a lovely touch). The positioning was very convenient with the aprtment only a two minute walk into town We hope to return again. It is definitely somewhere we’d recommend staying.

We had another fabulous New Year stay at Marner’s Rock No 1. It is in a perfect location, although if your mobility is not good, the hill walk from the town is quite steep. The apartment is perfect for 2 people, the luxurious bed is so comfy and the bedding is beautiful. The interior is fabulous and everything is top quality. We can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing stay at No.1. The apartment is beautiful and the location perfect. The apartment has everything you could possibly think of and from the Egyptian Cotten linen to the bone China plates, everything felt very luxurious and a real treat.
It was a very last minute booking (the morning of) so we were chuffed when we arrived to wine, gin, fresh bread and milk (all you need really!).
We also were able to have a look at No.2, which has the most wonderful views and is equally as luxurious.
Though we went in December, Fowey is open as is perfect for doggy’s.
We cannot want to come back next December.
