Light and airy with a gorgeous master suite – bath with a view and a window seat which is just fabulous to watch the harbour and chill-out with a morning coffee. Lovely welcome treats including local fresh bread, butter and preserves and fruit. Truly a magical place for a wonderful holiday. Highly recommended!

It’s obvious lots of thought & care went in to creating this very comfortable apartment – definitely a class above your usual ‘holiday rental’. Fowey is a great town with plenty to do & Marners Rock 2 is ideally located with easy walkable access to all it offers. Weather wasn’t great during our week but ‘staying home’ occasionally was actually a pleasure – cooking dinner in a well equipped kitchen, a nice bottle of wine & spectacular views. Perfect 5***** apartment!
Caroline Hannant says: Just returned from a wonderful few days in Fowey staying at no. 2 Marners Rock. This is a beautiful place with fabulous views of the harbour and only a few minutes walk from the centre, which has loads to see and many good restaurants and pubs. It is furnished to a an exceptionally high standard with everything available to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Also fabulous outside area to lounge around on and watch the world go by. Having stayed in many Airbnbs and similar, I can confirm Marners Rock is up there with the best of them. Also – most important of all, the beds are sleep-inducingly comfortable! Highly recommended.

Having visited beautiful Fowey and enjoying it from the luxurious comfort of Marners Rock No.2 last year (2024), we couldn’t wait to come back this year, and it didn’t disappoint! Perfectly located to enjoy all the shops, restaurants and nautical life the town and beach has to offer.

This was a repeat visit and every bit as wonderful as before – the apartment is comfortable and beautifully appointed and the views from the balcony can’t be beaten. Hosts Henry and Alison are always so responsive and a pleasure to liaise with. This place is a special gem!

We have looked forward to it for months after staying their last summer, knowing that we would instantly relax and all our needs would be catered for. We can only echo what we said in our last review. It is simply the best apartment we have ever stayed in. Every single thing is of such a high standard, immaculately clean and it is so tastefully furnished. Highlights are the comfy beds, the wonderful bathrooms, the beautiful lounge area and it is great if you are a keen cook as the kitchen is so well equipped. Then there is the view! We were unlucky with the weather so did not sit out on the balcony, but it did not matter as the view is simply stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed a recent 3 night break in this wonderful apartment. Having looked at it online, it exceeded our already high expectations, and its location is perfect. The welcoming G & T and other ‘goodies’ were a lovely touch, and with all the restaurants on hand, all you need to do is relax in the very well-appointed apartment. Of course, if you want to cook, absolutely everything is on hand in the kitchen. Without doubt, the best apartment we have stayed in and we will be returning ! Thank you Marners Rock.

Isabel says: We enjoyed a fabulous mini break for 3 nights. The photos of the view, convenient parking and great location attracted us, and these were a definite bonus. The estuary and sea view view is amazing, and we loved having the loan of the binoculars to enjoy boat watching . The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated. It is also warm, clean and really comfortable. The kitchen is better equipped than any other we have stayed. The attention to detail is apparent from the start, with the hosts Henry and Alison being really responsive from the moment we booked. We felt really welcome, and especially enjoyed the drinks and fresh bread to greet us after our journey. We would love to come and stay again.

A wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were stunned by the views, the ease of accessing the property and how well presented it was. We were even left with a bottle of rosé, some gin and tonic, a fresh loaf of bread and butter. Those little extra touches mean so much! But the location was amazing, a short walk into the centre and also out of the way enough to enjoy a quiet drink outside the property overlooking the view. The accommodation was so clean. The hosts responded so quickly whenever we had any questions; they were extremely helpful and we were very thankful for this. They provided a cot and a highchair for our little one, which was so kind, as it saved us having to bring one with us. Would recommend this accommodation so much!! My family and I had an amazing stay at Marners Rock. We come every year and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Perfect service from the hosts and love the treats on arrival! Can’t wait to come back next year.

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at Marner’s Rock No.1. Perfectly located just a short walk from the car park and town centre, and high enough to enjoy beautiful views across the harbour. We opened the door to gin and tonics and a chilled bottle of rosé in the fridge, which is exactly what we fancied after a long drive! Really thoughtful.
The apartment itself was stunning, with exceptional attention to detail throughout. Everything was beautifully presented, but the bed was the real highlight—we genuinely had one of the best nights’ sleep ever. We spent three lovely nights here and are already planning our return. Highly recommended!

We stayed in No 1 for three nights earlier this month and found it to be exactly what we wanted: quiet, well-situated with a lovely view, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. The fresh loaf of bread and butter and jams were a welcome touch, as was the tea and coffee provided. As first-timers in Fowey, we much appreciated the range of visitor information that was provided; it made the most of our short visit — especially the information about walking routes. We would love to return for a longer stay some day!
