Richard Lowes says: If you are ever in doubt about booking holiday accommodation then your doubts can be totally extinguished by staying at Marners Rock No2. The attention to detail on the decoration and furnishings is wonderful. We did take our time finding the cottage, but it was a joy to wander the lovely streets of Fowey. When we arrived there was a gin and tonic waiting for us…..very thoughtful indeed. The best compliment I can give, is that if we owned a holiday cottage, we would aspire to have it to this standard….also thanks to the cleaner, who does a fab job. Thanks again, Richard & Maureen

Stunning home with beautiful views over the harbour! The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed and more, even when travelling with a one year old! A beautifully decorated home, perfectly located just a short walk down the hill into the centre. Alison & Henry were amazing hosts, providing all the info we needed before and during our stay, checking in to see everything was ok and being very responsive when we had a question.
We were welcomed with some fresh bread, essentials and wine and gin, which was a lovely gesture! They also contacted us before check-in time to let us know the apartment was ready and we could arrive early. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make the most of the early check-in, but it was great that they provided the opportunity to do so.

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend marners rock 2. It is tastefully decorated, spacious and has all the “home from home” comforts that you could possibly need. The master bedroom and bathroom views are totally mesmerising. The dining area is well positioned to make the most of the glorious views down over the fowey river and to the sea. The beds are enormous and very comfortable!! A lovely base to explore that part of the Cornish coast! We would not hesitate to return. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, thank you!

We spent a wonderful short break at this most comfortable and perfectly located apartment. The apartment is spacious with stunning views of the river and town, and it is thoughtfully furnished with everything you would need for a perfect stay. Can’t fault it. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible stay at this beautifully furnished apartment. The location was perfect—just a short walk to Fowey with its fantastic restaurants and scenic walking trails. The highlight was the breathtaking view from the terrace, watching the sunrise over the estuary was truly unforgettable. The apartment was spotless, with every amenity and piece of equipment we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were powerful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved swimming at Readymoney Cove nearby. The hosts were responsive and friendly, making the entire experience seamless. We highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Wow, what an amazing apartment Marners Rock No 3 is!! Location is perfect with beautiful views out over the sea and Polruan. There was plenty of space for myself, husband and daughter, along with 3 of her friends (all 16, so adults basically!). The apartment had everything you needed for more than a comfortable stay. Beds were so comfy, luxurious bedding, just perfect! Car parking space too! We will definitely be back! Alison & Henry were great hosts, the welcome pack was brilliant!! Thank you for a great stay.

This was our first trip to Fowey and we couldn’t have felt luckier to have found Marners Rock No. 3. Communication throughout was excellent and Henry a pleasure to liaise with, so hopes were high and they were met and exceeded. The thought, care and attention that Alison and Henry have applied to every detail is evident; the apartment is beautifully presented and so comfortable to stay in. The views from the terrace are pure joy, Fowey is a gem and the apartment really well situated. We can’t wait to return.

We have recently returned from a fabulous stay at No. 3, we are regular visitors to Fowey and this is without doubt the most amazing place we have stayed. The apartment has been decorated and furnished to an incredibly high standard, with every detail carefully considered, and beautiful unique pieces of furniture and art work throughout. From the welcome provided and communication from Henry, our stay was an absolute pleasure. Fowey has so much to offer but we could happily spend our time simply taking in the wonderful view in the terrace. We cannot wait to return!

Marners Rock is an absolutely stunning property in a perfect location. The apartment is designed beautifully, with everything you would ever need, all wrapped up in a rare elegance and luxury. Communication was excellent, every detail was thought about, and the treats on arrival (including gin!) were very welcome. Situated perfectly between the wonderful Fowey town and Readymoney Cove, you couldn’t ask for a better spot, and the fantastic balcony is the perfect spot to watch the estuary as the weather rolls in. We hope to be back very soon.

The apartment was perfect. It was beautifully clean and equipped with everything we needed. Sitting on the comfy sofa or at the dining table, we could admire all of the unique touched that have been carefully added. The bathroom feels as though you are at a luxry spa and the whole apartment has been finished to the highest standards. Alison and henry popped round after we arrived to check all was well and they made us feel very welcome, (the gin and fresh bread were a lovely touch). The positioning was very convenient with the aprtment only a two minute walk into town We hope to return again. It is definitely somewhere we’d recommend staying.

We had another fabulous New Year stay at Marner’s Rock No 1. It is in a perfect location, although if your mobility is not good, the hill walk from the town is quite steep. The apartment is perfect for 2 people, the luxurious bed is so comfy and the bedding is beautiful. The interior is fabulous and everything is top quality. We can’t wait to come back.
